Shinichi Kitaoka

Shinichi Kitaoka is president of JICA. Previously, he was president of the International University of Japan. His career includes being a professor at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) and at the Graduate Schools for Law and Politics at the University of Tokyo, and serving as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary and deputy permanent representative of Japan to the United Nations.
