Sheila Dinotshe Tlou
Sheila Dinotshe Tlou co-chairs the Global HIV Prevention Coalition and the Nursing Now Global Campaign. A former regional director of UNAIDS, she served as minister of health in Botswana, where she led a comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support programme that is still a model in Africa. She professor emerita of the University of Botswana and a former director of the World Health Organization’s Collaborating Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Development in Primary Health Care.
