Shadi Saleh

Shadi Saleh is the founding director of the Global Health Institute at the American University of Beirut, the first such institute in the Middle East and North Africa. He is a professor with expertise in evidence-based decision making in health care, health system financing and economic evaluations of health system interventions. He served as an elected board member of the Consortium of Universities in Global Health and is a head of delegation with the WHS Academic Alliance. In 2022, he was awarded the Velji Award for Global Health Leadership.
