Sarah Hess
Sarah Hess is a technical officer in the World Health Organization’s Health Emergencies Programme. An expert in international public health with a background in microbiology and infectious diseases, she has been with the WHO since 2014. Her current work focuses on establishing multisectoral partnerships for enhanced epidemic and pandemic preparedness and prevention, leading a multidisciplinary initiative to define and measure trust in the context of pandemics, and building an innovative digital solution to increase access to credible health information during high impact public health events.
