Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi
Dr Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi has been Saudi Arabia’s minister of commerce since 2016. Appointed acting minister of media in February 2020, he is a member of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs. He has previously served as minister of social affairs, acting minister of municipal and rural affairs, head of private affairs of His Highness the Crown Prince and secretary-general of the Jeddah Chamber. An engineer by training, he worked as a professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.
