Agnès Buzyn
Agnès Buzyn was appointed France’s Minister of Solidarity and Health in 2017. Previously she was appointed chair of the independent French National Authority for Health and, from 2011 to 2016, president of the National Cancer Institute. As a haematologist and clinician, she has supervised a haematology intensive care and bone marrow transplant unit, and directed research studies on tumour immunology at the National Institute of Health and Medical Research.
